Ever had an AI agent stop halfway through a job because it hit a login screen?

Grok Bot just fixed that. And it shipped something bigger in the same week.

Quick background: Grok Bot is xAI's always-on agent. Each Bot works on its own computer in the cloud, with its own browser, so it keeps going after you close the app.

Last week it got two upgrades.

Vault lets you save your logins, cards and contact details once, so your Bots can sign in and check out for you.

Pages lets you ask a Bot for a report, memo or dashboard. It builds a page you can edit together, or one it keeps up to date.

Here's the line most people will skim past. In xAI's own words, a saved card "fills in at checkout without asking you each time, and no setting requires your approval for each use."

(Read that one twice.)

Right after this: how to set up Vault so your Bot can sign in for you but can't spend without you, plus three pages worth asking for this week.

Now a quick word from today's sponsor.

Insurance Shouldn’t Be Your Problem to Solve

WithCoverage replaces traditional brokers with an AI-enabled team of real estate insurance experts and attorneys. Get flat fees instead of commissions and one platform for policies, claims, COIs, and renewals across your portfolio.

Start with a free, confidential policy review to uncover savings and better protect your properties.

Right. Back to it.

What Vault does

Your Bot never sees a saved password, card number or security code. Those get filled straight into the website.

It can see which logins you've saved, and your contact details, so it can pick the right login and type your address into a form.

What you can save:

  • Logins: the website, your username and your password

  • Cards: type them in, or scan one with your camera

  • Contact info: names, addresses, phone numbers and emails for shipping and billing

Two things to know before you start:

  • Everything you save works for every Bot on your account. You can't limit an item to one Bot.

  • Vault doesn't work on shared Bots.

You'll find it under Settings, then Vault. It needs Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later.

The card question

If you want to approve every payment yourself, xAI's answer is simple: don't save the card.

You've got two other ways to pay:

  1. When your Bot reaches a checkout, it can show you a secure form. Leave "Securely save to Bot's vault" unchecked. The card is used for that chat only and expires on its own.

  2. A Bot can also ask you to approve a one-time card for a single purchase. You see the merchant, the items and the total, then choose Pay, Pay another way or Deny. Nothing is charged if you decline.

Already saved a card? Remove it under Settings, then Vault. After that, your Bot can't pay with it.

Set up Vault the careful way

  1. Save the logins your Bots need most, like the tools you sign in to every week.

  2. Add a hint to each one, like "Use for work purchases." Bots follow hints when they choose between entries.

  3. Save your contact info, so you stop typing your address into every form.

  4. Skip the card, and approve purchases one at a time.

Importing logins from a password manager? You can upload a CSV export on desktop. That file holds your passwords unencrypted, so delete it as soon as the import is done.

And one rule from xAI worth keeping: passwords and one-time codes never go in an ordinary chat.

Pages: reports your Bot keeps up to date

Ask your Bot for a page (a report, memo, dashboard, tracker or explainer), and it posts a card with an Open button.

Here's the kind of request that works:

Make a page that compares the three quotes in this thread, with a table and a short recommendation.

Want a change? Keep chatting while the page is open. The Bot edits the same page, so anyone who can open it sees the update.

Pages start private. You can share one with people you invite, with your team, or with anyone who has the link, no sign-in needed. Viewers can read it, but only the Bot can change it.

So read a page before you share the link, and only share by link when it holds nothing private.

Pages needs Grok Bot 0.60.0 or later on desktop, or 1.14.0 or later on your phone. It's rolling out gradually.

Three pages to ask for this week

Page 1. A money tracker:

Make a page that lists my open quotes and unpaid invoices, with who owes what and what's overdue. Keep it up to date.

Page 2. A client memo:

Turn this thread into a one-page memo for my client: what we agreed, what happens next, and who does what.

Page 3. A competitor watch:

Make a page comparing [competitor A], [competitor B] and [competitor C] on price, plans and anything new this month. Keep it up to date.

Make it stick

Save your logins. Skip the card.

Then ask for one page this week and share it with one person.

Handing an agent your logins works best when your business already has its rules written down: what it may buy, who it may email, what needs you first. That's the whole idea behind The One-Person Company Playbook.

It's the complete setup for running a business where AI does the work of a full team. Inside:

  • A company folder with your brief, pipeline tracker and invoice log already laid out, so any AI picks up where you left off

  • Thirty AI roles across six departments, from sales to finance, ready to use

  • Six jobs that run on a clock: the morning briefing, follow-ups, invoice checks and more

  • The step-by-step path from picking a business model to your first paying customer

Works on Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok, whichever you already pay for.

The catch: it takes about eight hours over a weekend to set up. After that, it's yours. $97, one-time (down from $297).

Zephyr

P.S. Would you save a card in Vault? Hit reply with a yes or a no. I'm counting.
