2. Microsoft 365 Integrates Copilot AI Features, Adjusts Pricing

Microsoft has announced the integration of its AI-powered Copilot features into Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscriptions. Previously available only through the Copilot Pro subscription, these features will now be accessible to a broader user base. As a result, subscription prices are increasing by $3 per month. Customers who prefer to maintain their current pricing without the AI enhancements can opt out. 3. Apple Suspends AI-Generated News Alerts Following BBC Complaint

Apple has paused its AI-driven notification summary feature for news and entertainment apps in the iOS 18.3 developer beta. The decision follows criticism over inaccurate summaries, notably from the BBC. The feature, powered by Apple Intelligence, will be re-enabled in a future update as improvements are made. In the interim, users can disable notifications for specific apps directly from the lock screen or Notification Center. This pause underscores the challenges tech companies face in ensuring AI-generated content is both accurate and reliable.
