We have some exciting AI news today: Google has unveiled its AI Ultra subscription plan, offering access to cutting-edge AI tools, and introduced Flow, an AI-powered filmmaking tool that could revolutionize content creation.

1. Google Launches Flow, an AI Filmmaking Tool Built for the Next Generation of Storytellers
Google has introduced Flow, a powerful new AI filmmaking tool designed to help creators craft cinematic video content using its most advanced models including Veo 3, Imagen and Gemini. Flow lets users generate high-quality scenes with intuitive prompts, manage assets, control camera angles, and build consistent story elements across shots. Available through the Google AI Pro and Ultra plans, Flow is already being used by filmmakers to produce short films with rich visuals and sound. It's an early but exciting step toward a new era of storytelling powered by AI.

2. Google Launches $249 AI Ultra Plan with VIP Access to Its Most Advanced Tools
Google has introduced a new premium subscription called Google AI Ultra, giving users access to its most powerful AI models and tools across products like Gemini, Veo, Flow, Whisk, and NotebookLM. Aimed at professionals and power users, the plan includes advanced video generation, enhanced research capabilities, AI filmmaking tools, and even 30TB of cloud storage. Subscribers also get YouTube Premium and exclusive features like Gemini in Chrome and a multitasking agent called Project Mariner. The plan costs $249.99 per month in the U.S., with 50% off for the first three months for new users.

3. Google Unveils Stitch, an AI Tool That Instantly Turns UI Ideas Into Functional Code
Google has introduced Stitch, a new generative AI tool that transforms text prompts and reference images into fully functional UI designs and frontend code in minutes. Powered by Gemini 2.5 Pro and available through Google Labs, Stitch allows developers to describe app interfaces in natural language, upload visual references like sketches or screenshots, and instantly generate design variants. These can be exported to Figma or used directly in apps, streamlining both prototyping and development for faster, more creative UI workflows.

4. Google Launches AI Mode for Shopping with Virtual Try-On Using Your Own Photo
Google has unveiled AI Mode, a new shopping experience that helps you find and buy products with the help of generative AI. It uses your preferences, product details, and visual inspiration to suggest items like clothes or bags, and even helps you buy them at the best price with an automated checkout feature. The most exciting part is the upgraded virtual try-on tool, which now lets you upload a photo of yourself and instantly see how clothes would look on your body. This feature is now available in the U.S. through Search Labs, with broader AI shopping features coming soon.

5. Google Invests $150 Million in Warby Parker to Build AI-Powered Smart Glasses
Google is teaming up with Warby Parker to create a new generation of AI smart glasses, committing up to $150 million to the effort. The glasses will run on Android XR and feature Gemini AI, blending style and tech in a familiar frame. The deal includes $75 million already invested and another $75 million pending milestone achievements. Inspired by the success of Meta’s Ray-Ban partnership, Google hopes to leverage Warby Parker’s design expertise and retail presence to bring stylish, AI-enhanced eyewear to consumers starting after 2025.

6. Google Supercharges Learning with AI: LearnLM Now Built Into Gemini 2.5
Google is turning Gemini 2.5 into a world-class learning assistant by infusing it with LearnLM, its specialized AI model for education. The upgraded Gemini now offers deeper explanations, personalized tutoring, custom quizzes, and multimodal learning experiences across Search, NotebookLM, and the Gemini app. New features include Audio and Video Overviews, live visual search through Project Astra, and tools like Sparkify that turn questions into short animated videos. Students in several countries can also get free access to Gemini Pro with enhanced study tools to boost their learning in and out of the classroom.
