It's a small dashboard inside Claude. Turn it on and it shows you how you've actually been using AI.
The topics you spend the most time on. Your busiest day. Your peak hour. Small observations about how you work with it.
Think of it as a mirror for your AI habits. Most people have never seen theirs.
But the part that stood out is this.
Reflect pops up questions now and then. The one that stuck with me:
"What's one thing you want to keep doing yourself, even if Claude could do it faster?"
That's a real question. And it's the right one.
It also lets you set quiet hours and nudges to take a break. A deliberate off switch, from the company whose product you'd assume wants you glued to it.
Why does this matter to you?
Because the trap with a tool this capable is quiet. You hand over so much you stop noticing what's worth keeping.
The gathering, the formatting, the busywork? Hand it all over, gladly.
But the thinking only you can do, the taste, the judgment, the relationships? That's the part that makes you you. Reflect is a small prompt to protect it.
How to use it well, in two minutes.
First, turn it on. It's in your Claude settings under Reflect, and it needs memory switched on. Available in beta on Free, Pro, and Max.
Then actually answer its question. Write down the one or two things you'll always do by hand, even when the AI could do them faster. Pin that list somewhere.
That list is your line. Everything below it, delegate. Everything on it, protect.
This is the whole philosophy I build on. AI takes the grind. You keep the judgment. The tool makes you more capable, it never replaces the part that matters.
