You can stop explaining your business to Claude every single morning. Since August 25 it keeps what you tell it, and what it learns in a normal chat is there when you open Cowork.

Before this, chat and Cowork kept separate notes. You'd research a client in chat, open Cowork to build the thing, and start from zero. Now it's one assistant with one memory.

It's on for every plan, including free, on every device.

See everything Claude saved about you

Memory is organised by topic, and you can read, edit or delete any of them. Settings, Memory, there's the list.

Three things I'd check in the first five minutes:

  • What it already saved. Look for an old price, a retired product, a client who left last year, a rule you changed your mind about. Old facts in memory are worse than no memory, because Claude trusts them (it has no way of knowing the price moved).

  • The sensitive toggle. By default it leaves out health, politics, ethnicity and so on. If the sensitive stuff is the context your work actually runs on, you turn it on deliberately. I'd leave it off.

  • Whether it's switched on for you. There's a toggle in the same place. Check before you assume.

Blu Dot surpasses 2,000% ROAS with self-serve CTV ads

Blu Dot used Roku Ads Manager to drive incredible results for its furniture sales event. Its strategy hinged on custom audiences and retargeting, where intent was strongest.

“Roku has been a top performer,” said Blu Dot’s Claire Folkestad. “We have seen…CPMs lower than any other CTV partner we've worked with.”

Stop typing your prices into every chat

Memory works best when you feed it the boring facts you're sick of typing. Not opinions, facts.

Paste this into a chat once:

Save the following to memory as stable facts about my business. Don't summarise, keep the specifics.

Business: [name, what you sell, who buys it]
Prices: [each product and its price]
Voice: [three rules for how I write]
Tools I use: [Gmail, Notion, Buffer, whatever applies]
Never do: [e.g. never suggest discounts, never use exclamation marks]

Then tell me exactly what you saved, topic by topic.

The last line matters. Make it show you the list, then fix anything it got wrong right there.

Keep it accurate in four minutes a month

Memory drifts. Prices change, offers change, and you change your mind about what you sell. In three months some of what it holds will be false, and it won't know.

So I'd put a monthly reminder on it. Open the memory page, delete anything stale, done in four minutes. I've had a Claude setup running on months-old context before and the output got worse so slowly I didn't notice for weeks.

That's one file of context handed over once. A business that runs on Claude has a dozen of them, wired to the actual tools, so the whole operation runs from one place. The community builds that, one setup a month, files included.

Your business, run on Claude. One owner, a full team's output.

Quick one.
